Janie Lee Hunt
Janie Lee Hunt, 80,
of Carlisle died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Baptist Health Medical Center,
North Little Rock. She was born April 15, 1928 in Hazen, Arkansas to Edgar
Franklin and Pearlie Ann (Kerr) Rochelle. She is survived by two sons, Travis
Hunt and wife Sharon of Carlisle and Trennis Hunt and wife Linda of Carlisle;
four daughters, Betty Jenkins and husband Gary of Carpentersville, Illinois,
Sharon Wakefield of Ward, Cindy McCrystal and husband Danny of Ward, Freda
Wallace and husband Steve of Hazen; two sisters, Alma Lois Ricks of Hazen, Doris
McClure of Rover; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her mother and father, one son, Roger Hunt, one infant daughter, Norma
Jean Hunt, two brothers and five sisters.
Services were held at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Hazen, Arkansas with
interment in Walters Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Ingle and Rev. Albert Young
officiated. Pallbearers were Michael Perry, Dwight Hunt, Albert Billings, Derrin
Decker, Preston Billings, Andrea Prislovsky, Allison Parker and Bobby
Parker.
